High Profile Shopping Malls

Repair/Replacement of Deflected Grade Slabs in fully operational Shopping Malls

Required due to subsidence of underlying soil
Solution was to demolish & remove existing slab, install a network of screw piles to a depth of 25m and install a new suspended slab
All work carried out inside enclosures with minimal disruption to mall operations
To minimise noise, quiet electric/hydraulic custom designed piling rigs were used for these projects

Underpinning Existing Foundations & Repair/Replacement of Subsided Slabs including construction and installation of Sump Pits and Slab Canals.

Required due to subsidence of original pile foundations
Solution was to coredrill through existing slab and pile caps, install a network of screw piles to a depth of 15m and install new pile caps
Defected slab repaired by installing a network of epoxy-grouted dowels connecting the original deflected slab with the new topping slab installed to correct elevation
All work carried out inside basement of building with minimal disruption to other construction

Design, supply and installation of screw pile foundations for vertical extensions to a fully operational supermarket/shopping center

All work required to be carried out with minimal disruption to supermarket operations
Cutting/demolition of existing slab in way of new foundations
Installation of screw piles and pile caps for columns with up to 7,500kN design load
All work carried out inside enclosures to isolate work processes from shoppers
